About Jen

Jen was born and raised in a small town in Northeast Nebraska. She grew up on a multi-generation farm where she learned the value of hard work. Jen attended Wayne State College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. One week after graduation she relocated to Des Moines.
She began her career in financial services in 2009 when she joined Financial Architects, Inc. Her reason for becoming a financial professional is deeply personal. She repeatedly saw many individuals, families, and professionals struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. Their plans were not optimal and many of their plans failed. No plan is still a plan.
Jen has a passion and a skill for serving and helping people to identify their understand and attain their financial goals. She is confident that arming her clients with a greater knowledge of personal finance, they will be better prepared for the future. In turn, she is able to help clients maximize wealth along with meeting their specific financial and protection needs.
When away from the office, you can find her fund raising or volunteering for nonprofit organizations. She lives into the belief of donating time, talent, and resources and strives to impart those values to those who cross her path.
In her leisure time, Jen enjoys traveling within the U.S. and abroad. She’s also spends time on I80 going to and from her hometown where her family resides. Having spent twenty plus years in Iowa, Jen proudly calls Iowa home and is very thankful for her Midwestern roots.
